When you walk through the French doors\, the sparkling chandeliers\, antiqued mirrors\, French inspired furniture\, beautiful seasonal decorations and the rich aroma of the French chocolate cakes baking in the oven immediately greets you. Enjoy French pressed coffee with a slice of homemade cake or pie. Enjoy a cup of warm sipping chocolate topped with fresh whipped cream and a warm cookie right out of the oven. She offers an incredible lunch of ‘The Best Quiche You Will Ever Have’\, homemade soups\, salades\, sandwiches\, even a true French Croque Monsieur (Fall menu only). Behind the kitchen window\, master bakers gently sieve non-bromated flours from Vermont\, aluminum-free baking powders & sugars and large pots of French & Belgian Chocolate melting on the stove. Once the oven dings\, everything at the Cake Bake Shop has come together to create a truly sweet and savory experience. Choose from our list of the best French wines & champagnes to accompany any of our lunches\, cakes\, cookies\, pies & desserts. Gwendolyn’s Cake Bake Shop has become the destination of Indianapolis for celebrating birthdays\, anniversaries and all the special occasions life offers.\nGwendolyn worked with Lenox for her own line of fine china designed exclusively for the Cake Bake Shop. French rolling pins are available for sale\, they are made for her in Dorset\, Vermont. Pixie Glitter™\, Pixie Fetti™ & Champagne Glitters™ are Gwendolyn’s own patent items offered to all of her customers\, available in custom made pretty pink jars. She has her own wine label ‘Doberge’ which is sold exclusively in her shop and has a line called Silver Celebrations London\, designed with her design partner Vivi in London\, that designs silver candle holders for cakes. All items Gwendolyn makes are available for all of her customers.\nGwendolyn and her shop have received many awards & recognition. Before opening her shop\, she won ‘Best Cake’ at London’s Cake & Bake Show at the Earls Court Convention Center for her chocolate cake\, she was awarded 2nd place in Valrhona’s ‘Show us Your Chocolate’ by judges Florian Bellanger & Jaques Torres\, and Martha Stewarts American Made showcased her Cherry Pie.\nGwendolyn has a partnership with the national brand Williams-Sonoma and her famous cakes are now available on the Williams-Sonoma website. Also excited to announce her partnership with Costco.
