Kelley Gay
Vice President, Corporate Marketing and Communications OneAmerica® Financial Partners
A 16-year veteran of the financial services industry, Kelley leads the OneAmerica’s Corporate Marketing and Communications area and is responsible for supporting brand management and development, culture revitalization, creative and digital design, corporate and C-Suite communications, media relations, advertising, online digital brand presence, business and marketing technology strategy and corporate support services.
Prior to her current role, she led OneAmerica’s Individual Life and Financial Services marketing and strategic communications for the State Life, Broker Dealer and Agency Marketing teams. Responsibilities include strategy, strategic communications, advertising and public relations, product and consumer marketing as well as client/ financial representative acquisition initiatives.
Prior to joining OneAmerica, Kelley led the strategy development team for the Consumer Markets and Acquisition team at MassMutual Financial Group. Her efforts focused on financial preparedness for women, families, the LGBT community, families with special needs members, as well as business owners. As the consumer segment leader, she was responsible for building relationships, programs and processes that build financial literacy in these communities while connecting them to local MassMutual expertise.
Kelley held several roles at MassMutual Financial Group, including life product marketing leader. During this time, she worked on national field training events and marketing programs teaching agents how to sell life insurance, leveraging the best practices of top field professionals.
Prior to joining MassMutual, Kelley consulted on marketing and brand promotion where she specialized in product marketing, strategic development, management, sales training and brand marketing. And early in her career, Kelley worked at Phoenix Home Life as a communications consultant and was a Series 7, 63, 65 licensed financial advisor with Smith Barney for several years.
Kelley received her Bachelors degree in English from the University of Connecticut, where she played collegiate basketball during the 1994-1998 season, earning her Big East All-Academic Team awards and was a member of the 1995 National Championship 35-0 team. Today, Kelley and her husband, David, reside in Zionsville, Indiana with their three children. She enjoys coaching her children, running, and public speaking. She is passionate about youth charities, women’s issues, and business and leadership coaching.
