GUEST SPEAKER: Amanda Clark, Founder of Cocktails & Chemo
Amanda Clark is the founder of The Cocktails & Chemo Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to caring for caregivers. It’s a role Amanda knows all too well. She was 28 when her husband was diagnosed with colon cancer.
Amanda previously had spent a decade working in television as a reporter, covering some of the highest profile cases in the country when she was forced to leave her dream job to care for her husband and young daughter.
At 30 years old, Amanda found herself a widow, unemployed and with a baby on her hip.
Re-building a broken life was the only choice she had.
Now, with her 5 year old daughter by her side she’s found herself through helping others.
