Linking Indy Women: Making a Difference In Indy!

Guest Speaker: Nicole Misencik, Meteorologist WTHR

Nicole Misencik joined the SkyTrak weather team in August, 2007, as weekend Sunrise forecaster.  She came to WTHR from WWMT, the CBS affiliate in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she was a morning reporter and weather anchor.

   Nicole’s first television job was in Flagstaff, Arizona, where she “did it all.” She produced, reported, anchored the news, and forecasted the weather for northern Arizona, all in one day. It was in Flagstaff that she got her first taste of forecasting snow!

 Now in Indy, Nicole is making a difference in the community by connecting and sharing with over 6,000 Twitter followers and almost 5,000 Facebook friends. She is recognized as an Indy Social Media leader who shares with her followers the forecast, breaking news, and how she enjoys our great city.
